Born and raised in San Diego CA
Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?
My buddy had his 9th birthday at the Mission Valley YMCA skatepark. After that I pretty much stopped surfing all together and skating became my new thing.
What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?
Arbor Skateboards Martillo 8.5
Do you have any setup rituals, we need to know about ?
Back heelside wheel is always graphic facing out, with the rest facing in. That way or no way…

What kind of skateboarding do you prefer ?
Whatever gets me the most hyped to have fun with friends. Been having a lot of fun trying to get better at slappys lately. But I\’ll always be a vert kid at heart. Anything with big tranny.
Do you have a great skate spot in your home town you can recommend ?
The new curbs outside of the….
Who is your favorite skateboarders, under and over 30 ?
Hewitt, Rick McCrank, Alex Perelson, and Gou Miyagi
School, work, not working or other occupation ?
Just been working on trying to get my own little brand off the ground. Pretty much spend most of my time behind a sewing machine or thinking about being behind a sewing machine. It\’s called Pick Pocket Manufacturing. I pretty much cut up any old tees and materials I can find to sew them onto new tees and garments as patches or pockets.

How is a normal day looking for you ?
Wakeup around 8, take my dog carver on a walk, spend a few hours sewing in the shed, then MAYBE go out and catch a session for a bit with the homies
Tell us how a good long great weekend should look for you
Bail from work on Friday, go out to somewhere sick to camp/skate for the weekend with some homies and my dog. Waking up with a coffee and a nice nature poop, then skating all day, bbq, and beers to camp again.

How is the summer treating you ?
Not bad, more work than skating, but not bad
Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?
Everyone I live with, Alex Perelson, Clay Kreiner, Mitchie Brusco, Jimmy Wilkins, Willis Kimbel, and Sam beckett is in town so been skating and kicking it with him a bit.
Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?
Being able to sew as much cool shit together as possible. I get super hyped on being able to revive peoples old clothes into something they’ll actually wear.
Last country you visited ? and what happened there ?
Last country I went to was Australia… Missed my first flight, got food poisoning on the way there, then got hit by a car on the way to the contest. It was super fun ( not even being sarcastic)
What was the last gnarly thing you witnessed ?
Mitchie FUCKING Brusco did a 1260! also Gnarcel fs inverting the clamshell at WSVT.
What was the last item you bought ?
I bought a steamer for making clothes not wrinkled. Super hyped
Do you have any odd or strange things you do, that you wanna share ?
Most people think it’s kinda funny I sew haha
What do you do besides skateboarding, do you have other hobbies, other interests ?
Last time I got hurt I bought Alex Perelson’s dad’s camera and have been doing a bit of filming. It can be as exciting as skating is when you can’t do it. And of course, sewing.
What is your to go to restaurant, you wanna share ?
La Perla in Oceanside has some of the best street tacos I’ve ever had. Get there. You’re welcome.
When you cook food, what do you cook ?
Waffles
How do you see the future of skateboarding ?
As long as you’re just worried about having fun, I don’t think anything could ever go wrong
