Where do you live and where are you from ?

Born in San Diego/ I live in Vista, CA

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

I watched my older sister’s friend skate in the street in front of our house. He could ollie pretty high with speed on this small, oddly shaped board. (It wasn’t a standard popsicle.) I loved to see it and felt compelled to skate. I practiced stationary ollies alone in our driveway for what seemed like hours, desperately trying to get the board to do what I wanted. The next time her friend came over I asked for tips. He told me the actual method and I did my first goddamn ollie! I have been addicted to skateboarding since.

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

8.38″ wide, 14.5″ wheelbase, flattish concave- but not too flat. 58mm OJ’s and 149 Indys

Any sponsors ?

Pick Pocket MFG. Yeh. Rockstar Energy Drink, Vans, Protec, OJ, Indy, Paradox, and 187 are the main plugs.

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

I am a micro stakes online grinder on ACR. If you know you know.

How is a normal day looking for you ?

There is no normal. I could be sleeping in from getting home late from a night vert session/ getting up early-ish to go skate parks or pools/ running errands in the morning before an early afternoon vert session/ or any combination thereof.

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you

Taking care of biz around the house and a fun vert session. Spend some time with friends of Bill

How was your year 2017 ?

It was spotty with alternating knee injuries. At the Vans Pool Party I qualified in second through to the next round. I bailed to flat on a lien air and completely tore my right PCL (which was previously intact) 5 minutes before my semifinal runs. I soldiered through it and limped away to not be able to skate for 2 months. Then I partially tore my left MCL but couldn’t let that heal very long. I couldn’t kneeslide for a good part of the year. The good news is I don’t have PCL’s anymore so now I’m just mashing old scar tissue. Aside from than that some good skating was had.

What are the plans for 2018 ?

I have been skating vert every day and feeling good. Very little knee issues. Let’s keep that going. Video part, it’s coming together. Truly just skating and attempted growth.

Any new projects or missions 2018 you got going on you wanna talk about ?

Yes there is. I will be able to talk about it soon!

Do you read books ? if so, what do you read ?

I have a Kindle and just read non-fiction, informational and educational books. I don’t have the patience for novels. Poker strategy; Sometimes self help books but then I realize it’s a scam and delete it. Personal finance; Exploration of practical subjects that I want to know more about. I hope I’m using semicolons right.

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?

My roommates. Josh Stafford, Clay Kreiner, Mitchie Brusco, CJ Titus, and Sam Beckett. (We have a big place with a lot of rooms, ha.) Jimmy Wilkins. Elliot Sloan. My filmer bud and rising talent Tylre Wilcox. Woah, I hang out with a lot of people.

New year is here, how do you celebrate new years eve ?

We lit off a bottle rocket. Probably not the smartest idea taking the recent wildfires into account.

Tell us a slippery story.

I slipped out on the old DC ramp off the big extension and broke a rib or something. That ramp was slippery AF.
