Where do you live and where are you from ?

I live in Århus for the past 4 years and am from Arnis, northern Germany. Currently I live in South India for the next half year.

Tell us a little bit about your past… growing up

I was born and raised in Kappeln / Arnis (the smallest town of Germany), I am half German, half Danish, am a carpenter and I built skateparks and yeah, I don´t really know what else there is to say

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

I guess I was always interested in skateboarding. When I was a kid, I loved watching my brother when he skated with our neighbor on the streets or in our gateway, but I never had friends who were skating, until I went to middle school. So I started with my friends when I was around 14. In Northern Germany barely were any skateparks, so we used to skate streetspots, ledges and stuff. But when I think back, the moment when I realized what skateboarding REALLY is and what skateboarding can give and do to people, is when I came to India for the first time for a project 2014 (Janwaar Castle) and experienced the Indian skatescene.

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

8.5 Deck (the past 2 years I was only rolling on the north German brand \

Who is your favorite skateboarders ?

Ginger, Bjørn, basictly everyone from the ALIS team! I also love watching Alex Hallford, Sox, and the Lovenskate crew!

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

At the moment I´m studying in Aarhus and try to combine it as much as possible with skatepark-projects around the world. At the moment I´m doing an internship for 6 month at an NGO-based school in south India called SISP. It´s pretty amazing how they integrate skateboarding in their school system and all the other good things they do for their community, you should check it out!

How is a normal day looking for you ? ( start from morning til late night)

7:30 I´ll get up, eat breakfast – 8:30 Biking 10km to my university – 8:55 uni until mostly 2pm, then biking back home or staying for a session, mostly at SmedX or Robbiespot our DIY spot. Back home I´m building some stuff or starting my fireoven-heated jacuzzi I built a couple of months back. Otherwise I´m studying or chilling with my roomies. 8:30pm we go dumpster diving and cook something out of it. After that we chill in the Jacuzzi and drink wine or beer

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you

Probably go on a skatetrip with good friends, building some DIY, BBQ and Beers

What are you planing for this summer 18 ?

As we speak, I´m renovating the upstair-skatepark and building some new ramps together with the kids. I´m also planning some nature trips with my friend and there is also a skateparkbuild happening up north India

Any new projects or missions 2018, you wanna talk about ?

Yes, I got invited to Rajasthan for a skatepark build with the holystoked crew. This one is a little special though. There are some filmproducers who got hooked on the idea to make a movie from the indian girls-skatescene and the Janwaar castle project which was a hell of a project. I don´t really know how much I´m allowed to talk about the movie, but anyway, I´m stoked! We are going to build another free-accessible skatepark in India and they are making a movie, oh yeah!

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?
