How are you doing at the moment? Very good, thank you.

How is your body at the moment , (injuries, knees, back, and so so ) ?

Body is good, no injuries. But with the small amount of skating I’ve done lately, an injury is very unlikely.

When did you start to skate and why ? what tricked you into this ?

My brother and I started together when we were younger. We had a teacher in primary school whose son skated. He was very punk at that time, looking like a mix of Sid Vicious and TNT from when In Bloom came out. He was my idol, so everything he did, I wanted to do as well. Do you feel skateboarding is in a good way ?

Yes and no. I’m not a fan of how easy it has become claiming to be a “skater”. I think a lot of people are milking the popularity of skating right now, during whatever projects/brands/magazines etc. with skating as an essential part and whatever “I used to skate …” phrase to legitimize it, which is fine. I think the problem is they are not paying homage to the skaters that kept “the wheels rolling” when skating was less popular and viewed as an losers’ sport, which annoys me a bit. But again, this is just my opinion J

Where do you stand & please comment with skateboarding in the olympics ?

I understand the argument of more money to build skateparks etc., but the only thing I like about the Olympics is the 100m sprint. The rest is a show of the results of pointless workouts for athletes, and everyone forgets the “results” the following week anyway. In my perspective, I don’t feel skateboarding belong in the same category.
