Dream session is,

A perfect 75 degree ,sunny evening at phishlips with all of my east coast, west coast, midwest and world family of skateboarders, but not more then ten of them at a time, lol.

Lately i have been working on

Creating, raising kids, filming a part that I have always wanted to film with Eric Attelson

I love making good breakfast foods, but I enjoy cooking anything as long as I have fresh ingredients

National public radio mostly. Music wise ? Just about anything from time to time, just depends on where my head is at that time. All time favorite band is The Melvins

Okay what is up with your “art” & art work ? 

I have a home based art studio/work shop, where I collaborate with my love/partner Stephanie Karn. We focus on salvaged items and materials, mostly antique woods, but not limited to. Both of us paint, do some graphic stuff, furniture, sculpture, jewelry,..pretty much bring ideas or concepts we come up with into reality.

 

 

 

How long have you been making art, rings & ( what else ? )

I have been creating things as long as I can remember, drawing, painting, building things. I have been making rings for about 2 years now.

 

 

 

Can you make a living out of your art work ?

It’s financially challenging at points, but just like skateboarding it’s a passion I can not deny nor see as not something I do.

Do you have a online site ? or other sales platform ?

Currently we sell our rings on etsy at etsy.com/shop/prfstudio A good amount of my other artwork can be viewed online on my facebook page as well as my instagram as punk rock fish and punk rock fish studio.

 

How come you got into making art ?

It’s always been in and around me. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a creative environment that supported creative thinking. My mother, father, brother and grandparents were and are creative people. From painting to drawing , sewing , writing and building. I have always been surrounded with an appreciation for the arts and creativity.

A few of MD designs. Th rings are MD “full set up” skateboard rings., comprised of 100% recycled skateboard parts. Wheel, sliver of truck and board.
