Where do you currently live and where are you from ?

I live in Gävle on the east coast, and I was born there 55 years ago!

Tell us a little bit about your past ?

I started to ride my first board at the age of 14, 1977 and I was hooked for life! My first competition 1980 and still competing. Got sponsored by G&S and Tracker in the mid eighties. At the time I played drums in The skate rock band SLAM who got the titel track, Wild riders of boards on Thrasher compilation 3. We toured USA from coast to coast 1986. Mid nineties almost got me to quit skateboarding because knee injuries, but I got back on track. Music, skateboard and snowboard is my past along with my family!

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

I was a shitty ice hockey and soccer player, I got my first board and found real great friends in it, a never ending story!

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

Indy’s and Bones on a 8,5 deck.

Do you have any setup rituals, we need to know about ?

No rituals at all!

Any sponsors ?

Cash Skateboards, getting my own model soon, Burn 68, Sea Fun and hopefully Bones Sweden.

What kind of skateboarding do you prefer ?

Vert is my call, but I do some pool riding and mini ramps!

Do you have a great skate spot in your home town you can recommend ?

We got a indoor park with a great mini bowl, I have to travel for vert sessions!

Who is your favorite skateboarders ?

Chris Miller has always been my hero, Steve Caballero and mr style, Casper Plass .

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

Work as a construction worker (carpenter) all my life.

How is a normal day looking for you ? 

Get up at 6 am, work my ass of, home at 4.30, make dinner for the family, lawn mowing in the summer and snow shuffling in the vintner, skate and drum 1 or 2 days. Kick back in front of the TV, sleep at 11.

Tell us how a good long great weekend should look for you

Travel to a vert ramp, hang out with good fiends, going to a great show, bbq all summer, snowboard the mountain watching a movie with my wife!

Do you plan any new year resolutions ?

I do not believe in that!

Any big plans for 2019 ?

Going to California in late April with my best friends, to hang out with more great friends, for some skateboarding. And keeping myself happy and healthy!

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?

My family, my band and my skate brothers .

 

 

 

Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?

My family, my cover band (Jennie Was) skateboarding and the California trip!

Last country you visited ? and what happened there ?

Me an my wife went to Poland, for a long weekend holiday with a Pearl Jam show

What was the last gnarly thing you witnessed ?

The Pearl Jam show in Poland

What was the last item you bought ?

A Sonos speaker!

What do you do besides skateboarding, do you have other hobbies, other interests ?

I play the drums in a cover band (Jennie Was)

What is your to go to restaurant, you wanna share ?

Church street saloon

When you cook food, what do you cook ?

I cook meat and fish and love to bbq!

Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ?

water Coffee and beer!

How do you see the future of skateboarding ?

Myself, I’m going to plant my hand in a vert att 60.

Do you ever think about a future with no skateboarding ?

Not at all, but l was for about 2 years in the mid 90s, because of my knee injury.p
