Where do you currently live and where are you from ?
Cape Town, South Africa 6-8 months a year and traveling the rest. Originally from LA by way of the LBC
Tell us a little bit about your past ?
We grew up skateboarding driveways and elementary schools, maybe if you knew someone older they would invite you to a mini ramp or if your super lucky a DIY pool session. The Long Beach seen had not fully developed yet we had no parks and only a few pros like Ray Barbee and Jason Acuña aka Weeman. (No jokes dude had the freshest heel flips in LB when I was a kid)
Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?
I got my 1st skateboard as a gift for my 9th Birthday by close family friend and surfing legend Shaun Tomson. It was this awesome neon green and black square tail Madrid, I still have it somewhere.
What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?
Supreme Indys 4 Life! The new Welcome shapes are wild… I’m digging the larger boards for Pools and Bowls, hooked on the more squared off tails and def rocking Bones Bushings.

Who is your favorite skateboarders ?
The GONZ aka King Mark Gonzales is all time! So many rippers with style these days….. Grayson Fletcher is next level! Quick list of current and long time favs… PB, Chris Russell, Boo Johnson, Nora Vasconcellos, Jay Adams, Jason Jesse, Rodney Mullen, Dustin Dollin, Ray Barbee and Hosoi.
School, work, not working or other occupation ?
HA! What does that even mean? “I Skateboard but I am an ARTIST! I love art and I love you… come to me and kiss me!” Anyways, I make most of my money as a Multidisciplinary Fine Artist & Photographer. international vinyl DJ
How is a normal day looking for you ?
Normal is the wrong word to use for me mate…. Nothing normal or predictable here, If I can skate or surf and still manage to do some creative vibes it was prob a good day. My life is consumed by Art, Music, Surf/Skate
Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you
Weekend or Weekday, Long or short don’t matter to me… I turn it up on a Tuesday! And vanish regularly…. Road trips and Camping are a must.
How is your summer coming along ?
Haven’t done a proper 3 month summer in ages… I been basically chasing Winters for like 10 years, the waves kind of suck in summer. I mostly get the 1st or last month of Summer depending on where and what I’m up to.
Any new projects or missions 2018, you wanna talk about ?
2018 is swamped with cool projects and missions, I try not to blow too much smoke and do the do! My quote for 2018 is “Keep It Styles And Smiles”
Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?
You if your down… Good people rule, Haters SUCK! Basically anyone who is trying to share some Aloha.
Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?
All the amazing cats I know, hang and work with are the innovators and creators of our culture. Hashtag #Blessed lol
Last country you visited ? and what happened there ?
Well I’m writing this from Africa but I’m based here 6-8 months a year so Peru was the last honorable mention. Ha, wouldn’t you like to know what went down… Def not appropriate interview material. Peru is next level and so raw!

What do you do besides skateboarding, do you have other hobbies, other interests ?
Art, Surfing, Analog Photography, Graffiti, Vinyl DJ, Philanthropy, Charity, Fishing, Snowboarding and much more! Make sure to explore all your passions and enjoyments!
What is your to go to restaurant, you wanna share ?
No restaurant plugs for the pals but Real Mexican Food is KING…. otherwise anything with culture and flavor.
When you cook food, what do you cook ?
I can cook up basically anything…. A dude who cooks well is like A game with the ladies, cats must know! My Ceviche and Fish Tacos recipes are the things of legend and myth.
Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ?
Booze? Good Beer or an Old Fashion thats not too sweet. Also a quality Red with a top class meal and Digging the Gucci Gn’Ts too… Although sometimes my mindset picks my poison
How do you see the future of skateboarding ?
With the Olympics now on board now, who the fuck knows… I just hope it doesn’t loose the anti-establishment, counter culture, punk, DIY vibe.
