Well this changes day to day but generally the same when I’m working.
06.00: Snooze Button for at least 30minutes, which pisses my lady off.
07.00: Wake up, Piss, Shit, Shower, listen to the news.
08.00: Coffee, breakfast, coffee again and a Cigarette.
09.00: Train over to Copenhagen, Instagram, News, Facebook, check mails.
10.00: Get to the shop, or the office depending on the day.
11.00 – Work – coffee
12.00: Work, Smoke
13.00: Work – coffee
14.00 : Lunch , Coffee, smoke.
15.00 : Work
16.00 : Work, Coffee, smoke
17.00 : Head home if I’m at the office, or go chill with homies at Jarmers, Skate, shoot photos.
18.00: If I’m at the shop, then will only head home now.
19.00: Go through passport control at Kastrup, ‘’Joy’’, then again on the Swedish side. More‘’Joy’’.
20.00: Argue with Customs Police depending on my mood, when they do their random checks for contraband, which aren’t so random, haha.
21.00: Eat dinner with my lady. Chill, Talk shit, watch something with her.
22.00: Catch up on Skate news, world news, and zone out.

How are you doing at the moment?
I’m really good, besides from being cold, and preparing my mind for the dark days ahead.
How is your body at the moment , (injuries, knees, back, and so so ) ? During the winter my knees constantly hurt like hell, but all good otherwise.
When did you start to skate and why ? what tricked you into this ?
Tony Halk Pro Skater games, haha, jokes.
I can recall it was when I saw Kareem Cambell on some 411 tapes a friend had, at the time I hadn’t seen any black guys on a skateboard like that, yet alone any parts, so that got me hooked on watching more.
But originally I started BMXing, and riding off-road bikes with guys around my area, then some would bring skateboards with them and we would mess around, with boards bikes and basically anything that had wheels.
Back then, if you were ‘’black’’ and did that kind of stuff and you would be labeled a ‘’white boy’’ by some of the kids, which would suck, so you wouldn’t want act like a ‘’skater, punk’’. So did the whole soccer ‘’Football’’ thing for a while until I realized that wasn’t my vibe and would rather skate.
I started to Skate all the time and loved the whole vibe around. My cousin (Thembani) and I would go on missions, and then from there met more guys in our school that also skated.
I became a skate shop rat at the Element store, and eventually I started working there and met my boy Donovyn and haven’t looked back since.
Then came my interest in photography and capturing skateboarding and everything around it. Kind of realized I really liked shooting photos when I was with the homies, I wanted to contribute to skateboarding from behind a lens. So now I spend more time off the board taking photos, which is my way of contributing to skateboarding and still being involved. Long story, my bad.

Do you feel skateboarding is in a good way?
Yeah most definitely, I think it’s on the right path. It has also become more accessible and accepted by people and places, which it would have never reached lets say 5 or 6 years ago. So I’m all for it going this way. With exceptions of course.
Where do you stand & please comment with skateboarding in the olympics ?
Don’t care, as long as kids aren’t forced to skate by their ‘’ jock’’ parents.
Where do you stand in terms of politics ?
Trump sucks… But generally liberal.
When I chill, I chill with, the Streetmachine boys, my lady, Johnny Filter, Sebastian Oddner, Alex Castro, Gideon Horn, Emre and the Streetlab guys.
I’m have been on a mission lately in (with): Not so much of a mission but with the Pasteelo Crew, Martin Lee, Sebastian Wang Holm, Rasmus, Simon and Emil.
Dream session would be:
Getting all the Danish and Swedish homies over to Cape Town, and road trip around South Africa.
Lately I have been working on:
Streetmachine board promo, with the guys and busy with a side project, starting a headwear brand, Quaint Supply Co, see how that ends up and shooting photos daily.
When I was little I would like to: Be a beach bum, skate and surf rat, and join Blink 182.
When im home I like to: Fix the apartment, edit photos.
I normally call my homies for: Beers, coffee and chill, or need help with some computer issues, I suck with computers man.
Your homies are: Baseline skate shop crew, Streetmachine crew, Streetlab / Malmö homies, to many but they know who they are.
I enjoy going to: pub, galleries, camera stores, Streetlab and hardware stores.

Favorite drunk moment’s ?
Haha, I was still new to Copenhagen and Streetmachine, when I went to my first CPH Open comp in 2012, and got really smashed as you do there. I thought it was a good idea to take the train back to Malmö, in my drunk state, but wasn’t aware of how fast the trains are here compared to South African trains. I fell asleep on the train, ended up 5 hours outside of Malmö in Gothenburg, with no phone, no wallet and only a board and my camera, I couldn’t speak a word of Swedish, and didn’t know where I was. Still pretty drunk and hangover I had to bullshit the cops with some crazy story, for a free ride back to Malmö and they bought it.
Favorite music: Anything thats good to the ear, that’s not trance.

Best travel memory you want to share?
My car broke down the middle of a game park, and we had to find high ground so I could see if there are any Lions around, so I could try fix it. Was shitting myself and had to act like I wasn’t though, with my lady there.
