How is your body at the moment , (injuries, knees, and so so ) ? It’s falling apart, but I’m stoked it still lets me ride.
Please comment on Skateboarding in the
80s When I started 1987. Era of shitty backyard vert ramps (like the one at my house) Good times back then.
90s Vert stopped being cool, I never was so no biggie. I rode giant wheels (47mm). Moved to Seattle where there was a solid crew skating vert and bowls. Late 90’s I moved down to CA. Rhino would take me to backyard pools instead of the vert ramps.
2000 Early 2000’s lots of trips to the pacific NW, lots of backyard pools.
2010+ Holy shit the kids are getting good!!!!!

TOP 3 Cities, San Diego, Copenhagen, third place is tied between Seattle, Berlin, Boston,
When I travel, I always bring, passport, skateboard,
Best travel advice I can give is, GO GO GO, it’s always the unexpected that ends up being the most fun.
Best travel memory you want to share? Not sure if this is the best one, but had a pretty entertaining road trip with Terror. Remember the Magic 8 ball, you ask it a yes/no question and shake it, and an answer appears. Glenn and I used the magic 8 ball to make every decision on the trip. Destinations, food, tricks, directions, everything. It was hilarious, but I don’t think everyone enjoyed it.
When I do not skateboard I, bike around, jump in the water, bbq in the park, go for hikes, see bands play, read a book
My fitness program is, skateboarding, hiking, biking, started doing yoga before I left SD for the summer, I need to start again.
When I get old I want to, I think I am old, and I still want to skate and travel. Make new friends see new places, revisit the old places.
I would like to see more of, I love seeing people who are having fun skating.
That one time where I was in jail because of, never been
I should do more of, I’m pretty happy with my life balance, just need to keep the ball rolling.
My future looks like, really good, Fred, Pete, and Gerald are going to be out in California this winter, I’ll be in Hawaii in the spring, and should be back in CPH next summer.
I dream of, the days when everything works like clockwork, when everything you try goes exactly as you envisioned.
The book I currently read is: I have two going, “The Lean Startup” and “The Warlizard Chronicles”
The best travel I have been on: There have been many, but one of the best tours was with Terror Skateboards, from San Diego to Seattle and back. It started with 15 people and 3 dogs crammed into 3 borrowed cars and ended up with 3 people, 1 dog, and 1 car.
The world travel(s) I have been on was: Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Croatia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Nepal, China, India.
On Netflix I watch: Scrolling through the menu for 20 minutes looking for something good before getting frustrated and turning it off.
If I could change the world I would: If I could change to world, I would probably fuck it up more than it already is, so I’m gonna just let it ride.
Everybody should own a: Dream.
The hobby I have, no one knows about is: I raced cars for about 10 years. Dirt circle track, everything from stock cars, modifieds and dwarf cars. Got pretty heavy into it, but stopped a few years ago to have more time to skate and travel.
I will never get rid of: Not super attached to any of my possessions, I’ll try not to get rid of my friends.
I would love to be in a movie with: An old Jackie Chan movie, I would love to see some of those stunts in person. Imagine if he had traded martial arts for a skateboard.
I currently follow (social media, instagram twitter, Facebook): The only one I pay attention to is Instagram.
Life advise so far ? You can’t have the sweet without the sour. Enjoy it all.
Anything else: Huge thanks to everyone I met and skated with in Copenhagen!
