Where do you live and where are you from ? Live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Moved here from Georgia in 1992

What size set up do you currenltly ride ? 8.5 wide Embassy skateboard with 8.5 wide Theeve trucks 58 mm wheels

School, work or both ? Work my ass off

 

 

How is a great normal day looking for you ? ( start from morning til late night) wake up, got to work for 8 hours and then go skate with the homies for hours and hours

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you Leave work a little early on Friday afternoon, scoop up the homies and hop on the road heading to Cali. Get to Cali about 2 am, crash out. Shred ALL day saturday, hop in the car on sunday and head back to utah.

 

 

How is your fall coming along and how has it been so far ? This summer/fall have been difficult and plagued with injuries. I am on the mend now though, looking forward to shredding soon.

Any projects you got going you wanna talk about ? New Pro model coming out with embassy skateboards. 2018 is going to be full of the goodies and presents for the whole family

Do you read books ? if so, what do you read ? Yes, the slight edge, the four agreements, and when things fall apart

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ? My daughter, enjoying christmas movies

Tell us about the great crew you are bringing to the session next time… ALL the homies at the new Lehi skatepark

How great is your crew really end of the day ? I have the best crew of friends anyone could EVER ask for.

Do you plan any fall or winter skatemissions ? yes, will be going to vegas and/or cali EVERY weekend in January

 

 

 

 

Who and what is your motivation at the moment ? My kids (Mads and Abbie) are my motivation for world domination in 2018

How do you think your future will look like ? so bright everyone around me will have to wear shades…

What else is going on ? EVERYTHING

What do you do besides skateboarding ? Work and make people laugh

What is your to go to resturants ? Mexican and Pizza (mexican pizza, forget about it)

Whats your top 3 favorite meals ? Mixican, Pizza and mexican pizza

Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ? green smoothie, shots of whiskey (pendelton) and water

How do you see the future of skateboarding ? it will stay the same, there will be growth, companies with money will come in and people will complain but regardless of what happens you will see me at the fucking skatepark riding my fucking skateboard instead of bitching or complaining about it. Core will always be core

Do you you have other hobbys besides skateboarding ? gofing, camping, helping others, trying to be the best father I can be.

Come on, tell us a slippery story. several years ago, I showed up to our weekly BBQ. I wanted to skate the mini ramp but forgot my board. I didn’t have mine so I grabbed on that was sitting there. It happened to be Bryan Penningtons (he was not there at the time, he was coming back). I did a HUGE ollie to disaster and cracked his board. Everyone was like, might as well finish it off, so I did. He got back and so I showed him his broken board and admitted it was me. Well apparently I had a huge smile on my face. (I was actually giddy b/c it was Bryan Fucking Pennington who was a hero to me when I was a kid) Needless to say he was not very excited about the broken board or my smile and to this day will throw my board over the fence if I let him ride it when we are at the BBQ and you can see the broken board hanging up in his garage
