Where do you currently live and where are you from ?

Copenhagen amager and im from Nørrebro Copenhagen

Tell us a little bit about your past ?

I grew up with a single mom and a babybrother. have always been very much into drawing and for some reason specially writing which led to painting graffiti already from the age of 9.

My mom got me hooked on it as she sat me down and kind of forced me to watch an american documentary movie which is called style wars about New York subway graffiti when i saw that i was hoooooked. Think my mom regretted numerous times since then that she showed me this movie about a sub culture that would literally change my life.

Why tattoos ? How did it start for you ?

I got into tattooing through my very close friend who got an apprenticeship in the late nineties and i started hanging out in the shop where he worked and became friends with his boss.when he finished his apprenticeship his boss asked me if i wanted to learn and become his next apprentice, at first i said no thank you because i thought it was a bit nasty dealing pain and working with people so close and the fact that that there was some blood involved freaked me the fuck out.he said i should stop being such a pussy and give it a go and then take from there ,after a couple of joints he convinced me to try and im happy i did.

Tell about your tattoo guns

My guns or machines is like my extra mechanical fingers which i hold very dear. they run so different yet very similar.you can say they have different hearts and different souls depending on who build them.i love how they sing and sometimes sounds like they have gotten the flu or something.

Do you have any tattoo setup rituals, we need to know about ?

I dont like setting up before the person i gotta tattoo have showed up. i did it a couple of times and it always ended up with a no show or something got jinxed.its just me im sure being weird like that.

Do you have a great hangouts spots in your home town you can recommend ?

Depends what you wanna do i guess.but if you wanna get drunk check out the classic danish bars called “værtshus” or “beverding” copenhagen is a small big city so get a bike and check out the city on two wheels thats always fun and you end up weird places you would not go in car or by bus.never forget to visit freetown Christianis its definitely not what it used to be but worth a visit, specially on a nice summer day

Do you make good living from tattooing ?

If you love what you do then yes.

How is a normal day looking for you ?

I wake up early cause we have a little kid now. so after takin the morning stroll with the baby cart and the dog i eat some breakfast and then hit the shower if there is time, after that get on the bike and hit the shop.when i arrive i start by havin my coffee and my cigarette and then if im startin a new project i do the finishing touch on the sketch.customer showes up and we talk a little before we start that way i can feel which state of mind they are in,if they are nervous or hungover or just pumped and ready to start, i find that that changes very much regarding where the person have chosen to place their tattoo.once we get started and i say we because it feel like it takes as much energy for the person gettin tattooed as it does for me makin it.if its a bigger tattoo we have some breaks along the way.once we are done i clean up my station and head home to eat or cook dinner and hang out with the family until baby and my girlfriends big daughter gotta sleep.when both are sleepin its grown up time or homework time drawing for tattoos, or painting flash or just weird stuff trying out different ideas on paper before skin. after that im normally beat the fuck up and fall asleep on the couch ha ha.
