Where do you currently live and where are you from ?
I’m located in Billings Montana where I was born and raised.
Tell us a little bit about your past ?
I’ve tried pretty much all sports growing up but skateboarding was my favorite. I love contests and the ones that threw ours in our hometown, stopped throwing contests which was pretty lame. So, I started throwing my own and it’s been a fun go forsure!
Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?
My Neighbors actually skated and they’d always try to teach me how to Ollie off a two stair but I kept rolling off of it and they get frustrated with me lol. They could kickflip and I always looked up to them for that. My brother lived in Arizona and he’d also call my dad and I when I was young and tell us how he did in contests so that kinda pushed me down the road.
What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?
Pretty much any 8.25 with twin tail, some 52mm bones, and 139mm independent trucks.
Do you have any setup rituals, we need to know about ?
Just make sure you do the bolts diagonal from each-other, other than doing top first and bottom second or vic versa!

What kind of skateboarding do you prefer ?
I prefer it all but I’m a street skater
Do you have a great skate spot in your home town you can recommend ?
There’s this parking block that sits up on some cement blocks that make it like a rail. It’s in the cut by some railroads and we call it folio spot do to this old skate team in Billings. Highly recommended forsure!
Who is your favorite skateboarders, under and over 30 ?
Favorite skaters under 30 locally are Bradley Pichler, Jordan Armijo, and Nathaniel Montoya. Pro wise are Chris Joslin because he’s a nice dude in person and his parts never fail to amaze me. Favorite skater over 30 is either between Daewon Song or Rodney Mullen because they have like every trick and some.
School, work, not working or other occupation ?
I Graduated from Billings Senior High. I work at hertz rental cars and it’s not to shabby haha.

How is a normal day looking for you ?
Wake up. Go to work. Usually leave work early to go skate(don’t tell my boss lol) and then try to go film with some friends or my skate homie Josh Weishaar!Josh kills it. I then I go back home to my Fiancé Ayjsha and hangout with her and get some grub while chillin.
Tell us how a good long great weekend should look for you
Wake up! Skate all day. Warm up at the park then try to go street. Maybe take a trip out of town. Then return home to my family and lovely lady!
How is the summer treating you ?
It’s wondering! I just moved back from Phoenix Arizona so it’s more cool out. I’m around great friends on and off the skateboard and I’m working on a part!
Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?
It’s honestly like someone different each day. Got too many good friends to give you them all. But fortnite with the homies is the ish.
Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?
I have a kid on the way so it hypes me up in all aspects!
Last country you visited ? and what happened there ?
I’ve honestly never left the states but I’ve been on the whole west side of America. I’m going to Hawaii soon, so that’s sick!
What was the last gnarly thing you witnessed ?
PhxAM 2019 was filled with bangers but Phoenix go skate day ties it cause I’ve never seen so many skaters get down at the same time!
What was the last item you bought ?
Some sweet ES shoes! Super comfy and I highly recommend you get yourself a pair.
Do you have any odd or strange things you do, that you wanna share ?
I feel like I’m just an odd person in general haha
What do you do besides skateboarding, do you have other hobbies, other interests ?
Just hangout with friends and do whatever weather that’s playing video games to going hiking.
What is your to go to restaurant, you wanna share ?
Montana Brew Pub, Guadalajara, and Burger Dive!
When you cook food, what do you cook ?
Mac and cheese is the best!
How do you see the future of skateboarding ?
Kids are getting crazier and crazier!

Lucas Alves is a pretty interesting dude.
Do you ever think about a future with no skateboarding ?
No way. It’s one of the best things ever!
