For Spring/Summer 2019 Carhartt WIP teams up with Converse for another season to create new variations of the iconic and versatile Chuck 70 – a contemporary iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star – with distinct nuances.

Since its earliest days, Carhartt WIP has incorporated military motifs into its collections, re ecting the same spirit that has seen numerous subcultures repurpose military and workwear garments to create their own inimitable uniforms. For its rst Chuck 70 iteration of the season, the canvas upper comes to life in a contemporary, reworked woodland camou age print dubbed, ‘Camo Olive,’ with distinctive stitching.

The second, fashioned in a ‘Brown Duck’ canvas upper with an egret colored midsole, is offset by a square Carhartt WIP label on the tongue. Between the two styles, this release spans Carhartt WIP’s storied heritage and its contemporary, utilitarian approach to design. Both sneakers come with two sets of laces with Carhartt WIP and Converse co-branding.
