Converse X Carhartt WIP

For Fall/Winter 2018 Carhartt WIP has teamed with Converse to create two variations of the iconic and versatile Chuck 70, a modern ode to the Chuck Taylor All Star. These will be exclusively available from November 8th at Carhartt WIP retail stores and at carhartt-wip.com.

Considered in design and detail, both are re ective of themes in Carhartt WIP’s recent Fall/Winter collection.

One, the CHALK, takes cues from the Icons Revisited section of the Carhartt WIP F/W18 collection, and sees a crisp, white canvas offset with contrast stitching – a nod to one of the most common motifs found in the brand’s workwear-inspired creations. This sneaker also includes two sets of laces, accentuating its two-tone theme.

The other, the MILNER, features contrasting panels of soft suede and a muted, vintage color palette with mulberry, dark navy and loden tones that reference Carhartt WIP’s Milner Shirt Jacket – a robust mid-layer created in shaggy wool fabric. This style includes acute gold detailing.

Both sneakers feature co-branded footbeds.

The accompanying lookbook for the Converse for Carhartt WIP Stores Exclusive release was lensed by photographer Thibaut Grevet, and showcases the timeless Chuck 70 combined with Carhartt WIP’s signature re ned-ruggedness.
