Where do you live and where are you from ?

I live in Lafayette,La. – life as come full circle and now I am back in Lafayette where I grew up

Tell us a little bit about your past… growing up

Got the skateboard bug around age 13 or 14 – summer going into seventh grade. Worked at my local shop until I graduated high school and moved to Cali.

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

I saw some kids in middle school skating and it looked to fun not to try, so I asked my parents for a skateboard from my birthday.

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

I currently ride an 8″ ,149 Indys , and 52mm wheels

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

I work a full time job in multi media ad sales and also help run Preservation and Blue Monday . It\\\’s daddy time once I get home – My daughter is 16 months old and takes up the rest of the day.

How is a normal day looking for you ? ( start from morning til late night)

Normal day starts with some sort of workout early in the morning then off to the grind for the day. Call some shops between work appointments – figure out dinner with my wife. , stop by the grocery on the way home , relieve my wife for awhile and sometimes make dinner. Skating figures in there some days

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you

Good long weekend would be 2 days of skating with the boys during the day and hanging with family in the evening. Extra day would go to the family for an adventure .

What are you planing for the summer 2018 ?

The summer will be about working on a little edit and having some fun. Taking some time with the family on a vaca and doing some traveling.

Any new projects or missions 2018, you wanna talk about ?

Blue Monday Ltd is my accessories brand – working on a collab with Humidity and a new product line.

What do you do besides skateboarding, hobbies, other interests ?

I like to take day trips to find some nature with the family – trying to learn a couple of programs – editing and graphic wise – one of those things I always told myself I would

When you cook food, what do you cook ?

I was vegan for 15 years ,so my dishes are all vegetarian – Lentil soup , zen stew , hummus , quinoa veggie bowls – I try to keep it healthy

Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ?

water, a glass of Vino Verde in the summer and a glass of Pinot Noir in the winter

How do you see the future of skateboarding ?

Old tricks resurfacing and kids pop getting higher ! It\’s pretty insane the amount of pop that a lot of the up and coming kids have.

Phillp Santosuosso -Next level on everything -runs Humidity skates shop , just turned pro , and keeps the the seams together in the New Orleans skate scene.

Tell us a slippery story.

Too many to tell from my team managing days -During a trip to make a wish one year with the Hollywood crew we had a solid day skating the park and won best team or something like that. That night was the after party and the crew got lit up and things started to fall apart. I was the designated driver and had to wrangle a very drunk rider out of their before all hell broke loose. I told a couple of guys to grab him and I ran to grab the van -As I was backing out I felt a bump and then heard yelling – one of our brilliant minds decided to take a snooze under the van. I help him in and grab the rest of the crew who have a very drunk and angry fellow team mate ready to fight anyone. We finally get everyone in the van and head back to the hotel. The ride home was full of every red light stop almost getting into fights with anyone who looked at us. Finally get everyone into the hotel and asleep. The next morning I wake up early to grab coffee and notice something in the corner by the sink outside of the bathroom. I call my roomate and ask hey did you shit outside of the bathroom last night and he says no i must of puked in the middle of the night. When I get back he laughs and tells me sorry that was shit.
