What is your name ?

Aaron Wilmot but the lads have been calling me Ron for some time now. Also been called Big Sexy for time now to.

Where do you live and where are you from ?

I live and love Glasgow, grew up just outside it in a small town called Uddingston.

Tell us a little bit about your past… growing up

Family was always first, Dad ran a business, I’d be there when I wasn’t at school, learning or playing on Motorbikes round my dads Garage. Then I got a board.

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

Big Neil had one and I got a bmx, I quickly turned to the board more and finally got one for myself.

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

Lovenskate 8.8, 55 aces trucks, formula four 56mm spits, what ever bearings.

Any sponsors ?

Lovenskate, Ace trucks, rock solid, Vans, stance socks, pyramid skate shop

 

 

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

Work at my family business fixing vans and sorting out the hire fleet it’s sick I love it.

How is a normal day looking for you ?

Coffee and smoothie at 7am then work at 8am, deal with all the glory of work then if it’s dry and just a normal day then cycle to kelvin grove, skate with many friends and drink beers then bar then cycle home.

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you

Party starts after work, skate beers, then bar, hopefully a night is on or a party at a friends , drink till am play lots of music and dance with rowan. Sleep.

What are you planing for the summer 2018 ?

Helsinki hell ride! Lovenskate tour and then a big one in October.

Any new projects or missions 2018, you wanna talk about ?

Big trip in October.

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?

Alex Halford, Jordan, skinny when we are doing trips, Charlie Paris Ruari and the lads at home!

Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?

Pretty much just good energy.

What else is going on ?

Hopefully just more Trips, need to film for a lovenskate video this summer!

What do you do besides skateboarding, hobbies, other interests ?

Cycling to the bar.

What is your to go to resturant ?

Big slope for sure

When you cook food, what do you cook ? Pies, can be anything from steak and blue cheese to chicken and leak classic.

Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ?

Beer wine beer

How do you see the future of skateboarding ?

With pain in my knees shouting at Saul.

Tell us a slippery story.

Crashed a 40th party at the weekend the floor was slippery but we managed to dance very well on it, free drinks and amazing band playing, I sang on stage with a girl who apparently matched me on tinder months before. Partied at Beth’s house till 6am was a fun one!
