What is your name ?

Noah Fuzi

Where do you live and where are you from ?

I grew up and currently live in Sydney, Australia

Why skateboarding ? How did it start for you ?

I started skateboarding because my brother did it and I copied what ever he did! Haha So we started learning together at the newly built Bondi skate park which was down the road from where I was living at the time. And from the day I started I was hooked, I would go down to the skatepark when ever I got the chance

What size set up, wheels & trucks do you currently ride ?

I ride an 8.0 with 139 trucks and 56mm wheels. And when ever I tell someone what I ride they always get surprised because they all assume a transition skater would ride a wider set up!

Any sponsors ?

Yeah! I currently ride for Surf Dive n’ Ski an Australian skate/surf shop, RVCA clothing and Globe shoes. And even a gym sponsor! E-Lab training which is a high performance gym in Maroubra that help me keep fit and healthy to skate more!

School, work, not working or other occupation ?

I’m currently enrolled in university in Sydney but this year of studying didn’t really work out for me haha. I ended up leaving half way through my 1st semester to go to the US and Europe to compete and film. But I’m gonna try again in 2018 and see how it goes!

How is a normal day looking for you ?

I don’t really have a normal day it changes all the time depending on events and things I have going on. But usually I’ll start the day off with a swim or a surf at the beach and then I’ll link up with some friends and go skate!

Tell us how a good long weekend is looking for you

A good long weekend would entail lots of skateboarding and good times with friends!

How was your year 2017 ?
2017 was crazy for me. I started the year off by getting the opportunity to go on tour with RVCA around Australia with all the international rippers! I also got to compete in all the main summer events down here in Australia like Bowl-a-Rama and the Vans park series which was awesome! After that I travelled to the US to film a video project for RVCA with my good homie Brandon Jenson. We basically went skating and filming everyday while hanging out with some of the coolest pros in the states! Then I headed to Europe to compete in the Red Bull bowl rippers in Marseille which was insane! It’s such an iconic skate park and event and I was so honoured to be apart of it all! While I was in Marseille I meet an epic Swedish crew that were further traveling to Bilbao to skate in this pool contest so I jumped on a bus to Spain with them and kept the fun going! Since then I’ve been home skating and filming a lot and gearing up for 2018.

What are the plans for 2018 ?

2018 is gonna be huge. The beginning of the year in Australia means all the big bowl contest which I’ll be competing in. Then hopefully I’ll be off to Europe again to compete and then I’m planning on moving to the US with some homies for a couple of months to spend some time out there to skate hard and film and shoot as much as I possibly can.

Any new projects or missions 2018 you got going on you wanna talk about ?

I’ve got a really cool video project in the works that I’ve been planning for awhile which I can’t really talk about yet but it will be coming out in 2018 which I’m super excited about! And also I really want to come out with a full length video part come the end of 2018!

Do you read books ? if so, what do you read ?

Haha I’m not really much of a book reader. Although I do listen to the nine club a lot! That skate podcast with Chris Roberts, that’s probably the closest I get to a book these days haha

Who are you hanging out with at the moment ?

Lately I’ve just been hanging out with all my school mates who I grew up with and then going skating with all the Sydney Locals! And also my girlfriend!

Who and what is your motivation at the moment ?

My motivation at the moment is to get back to the level of skating I was at before I busted my ankle which I did few weeks ago. I’m just happy to be back on my board skating as much as I can getting all my tricks back! And then my motivation in the new year is to start learning new tricks and filming a lot while also trying to do well in all the contests!

What else is going on ?

I’ve been doing some contest MC’ing while my ankle was busted which is pretty fun! And also just been doing some cool event collaborations here and there. Trying to have more to me than just skateboarding because I’m quite a talkative person and I’m very interested in the whole presenting / Tv world

What do you do besides skateboarding ?

I have been taking a lot of 35mm film photos of what goes on around me, my friends and my travels. I love that kinda stuff haha. You can check out my film photos on Instagram at @fuzifilm if you want!

What is your to go to resturant ?

It’s called ‘The Best Thai’. It’s down the road from me. And my brother, friends and I have been going there for ages whether it’s just to catch up for a quick good meal or go to plan and talk about ideas we have. Best Thai is just the bomb

When you cook food, what do you cook ? Avocado on toast and pasta haha

Whats your top 3 favorite drinks ?

Water is great. So is chocolate Nesquik and strawberry milk haha

How do you see the future of skateboarding ?

All I know is the level of skateboarding is just ridiculous and everyone is only getting better and younger. It’s crazy.

Do you you have other hobbys besides skateboarding ?

Just all the stuff I’ve said above like trying to do some presenting and TV work and 35mm film photography! Ive also been trying to learn to paint which is fun

Who do we need to interview on the lodge ?

Mikey Mendoza!! Legend.

New year is here, how do you celebrate new years eve ?

Just hanging out with friends and a few too many drinks

Tell us a slippery story.

The other day when I got out of the car a bird popped all over me. That was pretty slippery haha

THANK YOU ?

THANK YOU to all my family, friends and sponsors who supported me throughout this year and I cannot wait for 2018!!

Last words ?
