How is your late summer coming along and how has it been ? Late summer was crazy due to the active hurricane season here in Florida. We have been in cleanup mode for over a month now. But the summer overall was incredible. I finally got to go to Hawaii and spend a great deal of time on both Oahu and Kauai where the beaches are epic and the skate culture is so amazing. I’m also grateful because we were able to spend almost a month in theFlorida Keys before they got destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
Any projects you got going you wanna talk about ? Yes! I teach all sorts of meditation workshops around the country that are meant to be relatable and practical for people. I’ve been teaching one called “The Fuck It List ” for the last few months which helps people let go and accomplish the things on their bucket list in a tangible way. But when I skate, I always call it medi-skating because to me, it helps me clear my mind and I’m not thinking about anything else while I am on the board. So now I created a Mediskate Gathering in south Florida and we are going to be meeting once a month as a collective and long boarding on a 7 mile trail together in a mindful manner. I’ve still got a few tricks up my sleeve!
